  There are no scientific studies showing whether or not drinking green tea helps you shed pounds. 

There has also been little research into its long-term health benefits. 

In addition, some people believe that drinking green tea increases appetite and makes them gain weight.

  Drinking green tea has always been popular as a way to stay healthy and slim. 

However, according to studies and studies, drinking green tea won't necessarily prevent you from gaining weight.
